Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting


Nowadays there are so many ways to get the word out about jobs and marketing and who is hiring through the communication of the web , with the different programs and such engines you can just about get it everywhere you turn so in order to get the word out about your company just go to one of the main top recruiting sites or most popular communication tools and post your market. In the article  Job Recruiters Turn to Facebook to Find Candidates from wall street journal its the fastest way for communication and also agrees according to this statement "I wish every company used Monster, social is a solution that many people are using". This is true because its just faster   In the article  Job Recruiters Turn to Facebook to Find Candidates from wall street journal  the Ceo Jeff Weiner said," users tell the company they want to keep their personal and professional networks separate". Sometimes this is true because when you are surfing the web or browsing Facebook the  last thing you want is for some job app or popup interrupting your browsing. I also believe that it depends on how you market , according to this quote from the  Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing on page 143 it says “It’s the value of having someone there who wants to talk to you about the product and the features,” says one brand ambassador. “It’s not really about sales; it is about sharing of information. If you go about it in a way that is positive and relatable, it’s a positive experience for [both parties].” I agree with this statement because an approach of marketing is very excellent if you sell the product or have a catchy way of luring people in to what you want to sell or advertise people will check it out. Communication and building relationships plays a big role in this, it is a level of comfort.  Getting the word out through social media is much faster and has faster results than getting their word out though and ambassador ,but getting the word out through an ambassador has better results of accuracy because if the staff are knowledgeable and well trained all of the information get out and people will better understand your product or information because they get a hands on experience and the get to ask questions to be more informed and last they will feel more confident and connected.
